This is a flooded ablutions room in a ruined mosque. Many eels now swim about and couples feed them boiled eggs in the hopes of being granted fertility. 

Cats are especially respected in Islam due to Muhammad's preference for them. I saw more street cats than I've ever seen, and they were clearly less skittish. I saw only one dog.
